Description: Instruction consists of a week-long workshop consisting of lecture, computer workshops, and individualized consultations. The emphasis is the practical and not the statistical, but those seeking more statistical information can arrange a specialized session. We keep the number of participants small and have two instructors and a teaching assistant to allow for participation and individual consultation.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own data and to contact the staff beforehand so that the data are in a format appropriate for the specialized software.
See comments from participants from past workshops.
Dress code is casual. Sometimes because of weather changes, the instruction rooms can be cool and we encourage participants to bring a sweater or a light jacket.
