Basic Information about the Dataset The dyad dataset C:/dyad.csv has been transformed to a pairwise dataset called C:/pairwise_from_dyad.csv. The dyad identification variable is called Dyad_ID. There are 6 dyads and 12 individuals. There are 15 variables (besides the dyad identification variable) in the original dyad dataset: the 5 paired variables for W are: partnum_W, self1_W, self2_W, self3_W, and self4_W; the 5 paired variables for H are: partnum_H, self1_H, self2_H, self3_H, and self4_H; the one variable measured only for W is: iii_W; the one variable measured only for H is: xox_H; and the 3 presumably between-dyads variables are: VAR00001, VAR00002, and bet. A new pairwise dataset C:/pairwise_from_dyad.csv has been created with 12 cases. The first variable in this dataset is the dyad identification variable, Dyad_ID. The second variable is the distinguishing variable, gender. The third variable is a numeric version of the distinguishing variable, gender_numeric. The remaining 15 variables are as follows: the 5 variables measured only for one member and the between-dyads variables; and the 5 actor variables followed by the 5 partner variables.
